Is HostGator India Merging with BigRock?
Yes. HostGator India will merge with BigRock from 15th July 2025. As a part of this move, the entire customer base of HostGator India will be migrated to the BigRock server.
After the migration, all the hosting and domain orders of clients will be manageable and accessible in the Customer Control Panel, or CCP, of BigRock.

After the migration, you will be logging into your account through BigRock instead of HostGator India. Your overall workflow for handling your orders stays the same, and even your login remains unchanged.

Your hosted data will not be impacted. Only your product & billing details will be migrated to BigRock. This is a basic transfer of the account ownership and payment info. Your existing hosting data and control panel will not be affected.
Will my website experience any downtime as a result of this migration?
No. This migration will not require any downtime, and your website will not experience any service outages/interruptions. Your site will work as before, with no change.
What if I already have a BigRock account?
An email with detailed information about your accounts on both brands, as well as guidance on how to successfully transfer, would have been sent to you.

Are there any updates to my order renewal prices?
No. The prices on your active orders will remain as they are for renewal. If the renewal pricing changes, we will notify you 30 days in advance so you can plan accordingly.
Is it possible to use the payment methods that I am already using today?
Of course. You will still be able to use the same payment methods you have already been using. These payment methods are UPI, credit/debit card, internet banking, digital wallets, and others.
What if there are any unpaid invoices in my HostGator India account at the time of migration?
You should pay all outstanding invoices before the migration. Pending invoices during migration will be cleared out. You will then need to create a fresh invoice for such services from within your BigRock account.
If I want to buy a new hosting order, will BigRock provide the same servers, features, and experience as HostGator India?
Undoubtedly! BigRock will offer you the same hosting servers, technical specifications, and user experience that you had with HostGator India. Nothing will change for your hosting quality or the infrastructure you are using.
Do I get the same kind of support that I got from hosting with HostGator India if I move to BigRock?

After the migration, can I still see my old invoices from HostGator India?
Yes. Your old invoices from HostGator India will be transferred to the new customer control panel of BigRock. You can read/view and download them when you need them.
I have been able to buy and renew the shared hosting on a monthly basis from HostGator India earlier. BigRock has a minimum duration of three months. Will the month-long option still remain?
Yes. The 1-month hosting duration will still be available to all clients at BigRock.
How do I identify my former HostGator invoices within the BigRock panel?
Invoices received from HostGator India in your BigRock account will continue to have the HostGator name on them. You won’t be able to change the brand name of the old invoices.
Will I have the same account manager after migration?
Yes. You will continue to work with the same account manager you have always worked with, even after the migration.
What will happen to my existing wallet balance in my HostGator India account?
The money in your wallet will be transferred in a secure way to your BigRock account. These funds can be used for any subsequent purchase or payment on BigRock.
Will there be challenges when filing GST returns/TDS due to the migration?
No. This won’t have an impact on your filing of GST returns or TDS. The provisioning entity name that handles your services remains unchanged.
Does the mapping IP or data center change because of this transfer?
No. Your hosting IP address will not be altered, nor will the data center of your hosting be affected because of this migration. There won’t be any changes on the backend side.
My name servers are already pointed to HostGator Name Servers. Should I update them?
No. You do not need to modify your nameservers at all. You may still use the HostGator India nameservers if you prefer.
My order is still within the Money Back Guarantee. If I cancel my order after migration, will I still get refund?
Yes. You have access to our money-back guarantee for shared, cloud hosting, reseller hosting, and VPS even after we transfer your account to BigRock.
The date of commencement of your Money Back Guarantee will be the date on which you purchased your hosting account with HostGator India.
How will I retrieve my orders after they have been moved to BigRock?
Just click on the given link to check orders. You can log in with the HostGator India account username and password.
Can I still purchase from HostGator during the notice period until migration is done?
Yes. During the notice period, you can order new purchases on HostGator India. Nonetheless, all orders will follow in BigRock after your account has been ported.
Where will I make purchases after the migration is completed?
After the migration is completed, all new orders will have to be processed through the BigRock site.
Will my domain name (which is registered with HostGator India) be moved to BigRock? Will the registrar details change, and will there be any locks on my domain name?
Yes. Your domain will be transferred by HostGator India to BigRock. The registrar details for the domain will stay the same, and domain privacy locks will not be activated for your domain.
But when you renew your domain name, then the registrar will be BigRock, and a 60-day transfer lock will be placed on the domain name.
